Gajalakshmi Panchaloha Statue 6 Inch — Gaja Abhisheka with Makara Torana Arch
Flanked by two majestic elephants and crowned by an ornate Makara Torana arch, this Gajalakshmi idol is not merely a statue — it is a complete temple shrine composition, a masterpiece of the ancient Panchaloha tradition of Kumbakonam. A signature piece from Sri Swaminathan & Co, one of Tamil Nadu’s most trusted names in sacred temple art.
Each piece is entirely handcrafted by master artisans using the sacred five-metal alloy — copper, zinc, iron, and a small but sacred pinch of gold and silver — following the same metallurgical canon used in consecrated temple idols for centuries. At 1.75 kg, this is a substantial, heirloom-quality piece that commands presence in any pooja room or home sanctum.
Why Panchaloha?
Panchaloha (பஞ்சலோஹம்) is the sacred alloy prescribed in the Agama Shastra for divine idols. Even a small pinch of gold and silver in the alloy is believed to amplify the idol’s spiritual potency, making it suitable for daily pooja, abhishekam, and all Vedic rituals just as performed in temples.

The Significance of Gajalakshmi
Among all forms of Goddess Lakshmi, Gajalakshmi is considered the most powerful for invoking Dhana Lakshmi (wealth) and Raja Lakshmi (royal prosperity). The two elephants performing Abhisheka represent the eight directions of the universe blessing the goddess — and by extension, the devotee’s home. The Makara Torana arch (Tiruvatchi) transforms this idol into a self-contained temple shrine, creating a sacred space wherever it is placed. Worshipping Gajalakshmi is believed to remove financial obstacles, attract abundance, and bring harmony and auspiciousness to the household.
A Premium Gifting Choice
At this scale and weight, this Gajalakshmi is an exceptional gift for weddings, Griha Pravesham (housewarming), Diwali, and Varalakshmi Vratam. It arrives as a statement piece — the kind that becomes a family heirloom, passed down through generations.

Bring Temple Energy Home
Placing a consecrated Panchaloha Gajalakshmi in your pooja room creates the same positive vibration as a temple sanctum. The idol can be energised (pranapratishtha) by a qualified priest and used for daily archana, deepa aradhana, and all Lakshmi festival rituals.
