Each statue is entirely handcrafted by master artisans using the sacred five-metal alloy — copper, zinc, iron, and a small but sacred pinch of gold and silver — following the same metallurgical canon used in consecrated temple idols for centuries. The warm antique gold Panchaloha finish radiates the divine luminosity of Murugan’s presence — no two pieces are identical, each carrying the subtle mark of the craftsman’s hand.
Why Panchaloha?
Panchaloha (பஞ்சலோஹம்) is the sacred alloy prescribed in the Agama Shastra for divine idols. Even a small pinch of gold and silver in the alloy is believed to amplify the idol’s spiritual potency, making it suitable for daily pooja, abhishekam, and all Vedic rituals just as performed in temples.
