Sri Swaminathan & Co · Sacred Sculpture
🛕🦜Fearless Warrior Queen 🦜🛕
Mother with Beautiful Fish-Like Eyes
— Real Swamimalai Panchaloha · Madurai Meenakshi Resemblance · 10 cm (4 Inch) —
For those looking to invite a real, temple-grade icon into their home prayer altar, this masterpiece delivers the highest standards of metal casting. Hand-designed using the sacred soil of the Cauvery River, this Panchaloha Madurai Meenakshi statue is poured by traditional Swamimalai sthapathis who carry the ancestral lineage of Chola mould-making. In the historic hub of Kumbakonam, Sri Swaminathan & Co is the trusted authority, serving 53 years of unmatched devotion to temple requirements and sacred icons.
This is a completely real, solid piece from our signature miniature collection. Cast using the traditional five-metal alloy (Panchadhatu), the melt contains a true pinch of real gold and silver to give the statue a warm, natural shine and a sacred presence.
The Five Sacred Metals of Panchaloha
| Copper | The primary base — the conductor of divine energy and the body of the idol |
| Zinc | Structural strength and durability — what makes Panchaloha completely unbreakable |
| Iron | Protective grounding energy — wards off negative vibrations from the home |
| Silver | Cooling lunar energy — brings peace, mental clarity, and healing to the household |
| Gold | The divine activator — a true pinch consecrates the idol and ignites its sacred presence |
Why People Keep This Statue at Home
Divine Grace and Protection: Goddess Meenakshi Amman is the ruling queen of Madurai, known for her ocean-like mercy and intense protective power. Keeping her in your pooja room brings courage, handles family peace, and clears out negative energy.
The Posture with Sacred Parrot: She stands gracefully in a royal pose, holding a beautiful parrot on her right hand. The parrot represents speech, sweet truth, and the listening of your daily family prayers.
Historical Royalty Blend: This icon elegantly brings together the deep soul of Madurai’s Pandya heritage with the world-famous casting methods of Chola artisanship, making it a proud family treasure.
Special Religious Days for Worship & Activation
This sacred Panchaloha Meenakshi idol is most auspiciously worshipped, activated, or gifted during these special festive seasons:
Meenakshi Thirukalyanam: The grand festival celebrating her divine wedding, bringing extreme marriage harmony and family blessings.
Navratri Festival Days: Ideal for prominent display on your traditional Navratri Golu steps or for daily special prayers during the autumn festive season.
Aadi Velli (Fridays): Honouring the Goddess on holy monsoon Fridays to attract good fortune, continuous health, and financial prosperity.
Material, Quality & Craftsmanship
Genuine Five-Metal Panchaloha: Poured as one single, solid piece of metal. Blending copper, zinc, and iron with a small touch of gold and silver gives it a solid weight of 125 grams for its size. It is completely unbreakable.
No Artificial Lacquer Paint: We refuse to use cheap plastic lacquers or chemical coatings on this traditional style. The metal is left entirely raw and natural, so it can breathe and interact cleanly with your daily prayers.
Extraordinarily Sharp Details: Because it is handmade using time-tested Swamimalai casting methods, every detail — from her tall crown (Kirita) to the folds of her dress and the tiny parrot perched on her hand — stays beautifully crisp and visible.
A Meaningful, Lifetime Traditional Gift
Daily Altar Worship: A pristine, raw metal icon made perfectly for daily washing, traditional rituals, and active family prayers.
Housewarmings and Weddings: A deeply respectable, valuable family keepsake to gift close friends or family to wish them a strong, blessed start filled with luck.
Safe Worldwide Suitcase Packing: Built from solid, thick cast metal, this heavy piece will never crack or break during long international travel or shipping.

Traditional Care, Washing & Maintenance
Because real raw Panchaloha contains pure copper and silver, it will naturally darken or turn blackish over time when exposed to air and water. This natural change is the absolute physical proof that your metal is pure.
To keep it shining like a bright golden temple idol for a lifetime, follow these easy steps:
The Daily Wash: Wash the statue cleanly with water during your normal daily worship.
Cleaning the Oxidation: Rub a small amount of fresh tamarind paste or fresh lemon juice mixed with a little salt over the metal. Use a soft cloth or a soft toothbrush to gently clear away dark spots from the fine lines.
The Golden Shine: Rinse thoroughly with clean water. The natural fruit acid will instantly bring back the bright, rich golden glow of the Panchaloha.
Wipe It Completely Dry: This is the most important step. Dry the statue immediately using a clean, soft towel. Make sure no water drops are left trapped inside the grooves of the crown so it does not get uneven dark spots.
What you see on this page is the real product — photographed as it is, with no digital editing or AI enhancement. The idol you receive will look exactly as shown.
Directly sourced from our historical workshop to your sacred space,
crafted with five generations of uncompromised devotion.
Care & Maintenance
Made from super fine quality brass with a golden powder coated polish — gives a satin gold glow like a gold statue. Purely for decor and dry display. If used for pooja rituals, the golden polish layer will peel off over time. Keep it dry — and it will look as fresh as the day you bought it. Always.
No restrictions for pooja rituals. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve its traditional antique look. The dark patina is intentional — it deepens the beauty over time.
Powerful. Preferred for active pooja rituals — no restrictions. Traditional Cleaning Method: Use dara liquid and cashew nut seeds — an ancient method used by temple priests for generations. Gently rub with cashew nut seeds dipped in dara liquid. Rinse clean. Your idol will look brand new. Cleaning once every 30 days is recommended if used regularly for pooja.
