Sri Swaminathan & Co · Authentic Quality
🦢 🔥Auspicious Single-Wick Pooja Deepam with Swan Handle 🔥🦢
— Fine Quality Strong Brass · 17th Century Epic Dynasty Style · 13 cm (5.1 Inch) —
For those looking to bring a true, temple-grade spark of prayer into their daily worship, this beautiful piece is a wonderful companion. Hand-designed right here in Kumbakonam, this Handheld Brass Aarti Diya displays an exquisite swan handle shaped with classic lines that carry an epic 17th-century dynasty style resemblance.
This piece is a premium quality, heavy-gauge traditional oil lamp that naturally holds its rich golden color over lifetime handling, making it a proud family asset for your home altar rituals.
Why This Small Hand Diya Deserves a Special Place in Your Home
Epic 17th-Century Style Swan Handle: The back of the diya features a tall, gracefully curved solid brass handle shaped like the head of a traditional Annapakshi (divine swan). This unique design replicates the classic look of ancient palace treasures, letting you comfortably carry the lamp during daily home Aarti ceremonies while keeping your hands safe from heat.
Intricate Base Carvings: The flared pedestal base is deeply detailed with traditional vertical lines and petal textures. This antique shading makes the gold design elements stand out cleanly, giving it a very authentic temple appearance that touches the heart.
Steady Wide Base Platform: The oil cup sits firmly elevated on a massive 7.5 cm base diameter. This thick base is specially designed to balance the weight of the tall handle perfectly, ensuring the single-wick lamp stays grounded and never tips over on your altar.
Material, Quality & Craftsmanship
Premium Heavy-Gauge Solid Brass: Cast from thick, pure brass metal right here in our workshops. The small lamp carries a very substantial, heavy feel in the hand, weighing an exceptional 480 grams for its compact 13 cm length. It is completely unbreakable and built to last for generations.
Sharp and Crisp Details: Every single line is etched beautifully into the core metal, ensuring the traditional layout stays clean and easy to care for over years of daily morning use.
Perfect Practical Dimensions: Structured with a 13 cm full length from the spout nose to the back of the handle curve, a 10.5 cm height up to the handle tip, and a 5 cm cup diameter to safely hold oil or ghee with a cotton wick.
A Meaningful Traditional Gift for Special Milestones
Daily Home Altar & Meditation Rooms: Made perfectly for your daily morning prayers, offering light to your home deities, or keeping a peaceful flame during meditation.
Housewarmings, Weddings & Baby Showers: An exceptional, highly respectable traditional choice for wedding return gifts, housewarmings, or Navratri Golu return gifts to wish your friends a strong, blessed start.
Safe Worldwide Suitcase Packing: Built from solid, thick cast brass metal, this sturdy miniature lamp will never crack, bend, or get damaged during long international travel or shipping.

Easy Care & Upkeep Instructions
Because pure raw brass naturally interacts with heat, hot oils, and soot, it will develop dark spots over time. This is normal and proves the metal’s purity. To keep it clean and golden without harsh chemical sprays, follow these easy steps:
Daily Dish Washing: Wash cleanly with your regular dish soap and a soft sponge immediately after use to clear away sticky oil residue. Never use steel wire scrubbers, as they will scratch the polished details.
Restoring the Golden Glow: Rub a small amount of fresh tamarind paste or fresh lemon juice mixed with fine salt over the brass pieces. This instantly dissolves dark soot stains and brings back the bright temple shine.
Dry it Completely: Always dry the handle and cup immediately after washing with a soft towel so that water droplets do not leave spots inside the deep grooves.

Care & Maintenance
Made from super fine quality brass with a golden powder coated polish — gives a satin gold glow like a gold statue. Purely for decor and dry display. If used for pooja rituals, the golden polish layer will peel off over time. Keep it dry — and it will look as fresh as the day you bought it. Always.
No restrictions for pooja rituals. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve its traditional antique look. The dark patina is intentional — it deepens the beauty over time.
Powerful. Preferred for active pooja rituals — no restrictions. Traditional Cleaning Method: Use dara liquid and cashew nut seeds — an ancient method used by temple priests for generations. Gently rub with cashew nut seeds dipped in dara liquid. Rinse clean. Your idol will look brand new. Cleaning once every 30 days is recommended if used regularly for pooja.
