🔔 Auspicious Ganesha Hanging Diya for Entrance & Pooja Decor 🔔

— Solid Cast Brass · Antique Look Finish · 21 cm (8.3 Inch) —

For those looking to invite real, traditional warmth and safety into their living spaces, this magnificent piece is an ideal choice. Hand-designed right here in Kumbakonam, this Brass Ganesha Wall Hanging Diya combines a beautifully carved face of Lord Ganesha with an attached oil lamp step and three dangling Vastu bells.

This piece is specially created as a high-quality interior and exterior architectural hanging. Whether you place it on your main entrance door wooden frame, balcony walls, or inside your home prayer room, its heavy solid brass build guarantees a lifelong traditional look that never goes out of style.

Why This Hanging Piece Deserves a Special Place in Your Home

Vastu Protection for Your Entrance: In our deep tradition, hanging Lord Ganesha at the main entrance of a home acts as a powerful shield that removes negative energy and stops obstacles from stepping inside. It creates a highly positive, welcoming field for everyone who visits.

The Sound of Auspicious Vastu Bells: Dangling beautifully from the base are three heavy brass bells. Every time they gently chime with the breeze or manual handling, the traditional sound clears stagnant air vibrations, inviting calm focus and absolute peace into your household layout.

Light Up Your Space: The built-in oil lamp (Diya) right beneath Ganesha’s trunk is designed to hold oil or ghee with a cotton wick safely. Lighting this lamp during festive occasions or evening prayers creates an incredibly cosy and soul-stirring traditional ambiance.

Material, Quality & Craftsmanship

Solid Heavy-Duty Cast Brass: Poured from thick, 100% genuine solid brass metal right in our local workshops. It carries a highly substantial, heavy feel, weighing approximately 650 grams for its compact 21 cm height. It is completely unbreakable and built to last for generations.

Beautiful Antique Polished Finish: The structure is treated to achieve a timeless vintage look. Deep dark shadows are safely locked inside the fine lines of Ganesha’s crown and the folds of his ears, making the raised golden surfaces pop out with realistic crisp details.

Smart Hanging Setup: Engineered with a secure internal mounting hook loop hidden neatly behind Ganesha’s crown, making it very easy to screw down tightly onto wood, concrete walls, or metal main gates.

A Heart-Touching Gift for Special Milestones

Grand Housewarmings & Home Renovations: An exceptional traditional gift choice to wish friends, close family members, or business partners a blessed start filled with continuous health and protective energy.

Festive Altar Layouts: An absolute essential centerpiece to add to your traditional family Navratri Golu steps, Diwali lighting decoration, or annual Ganesha Chaturthi prayers.

Safe Worldwide Suitcase Packing: Built from solid, thick cast brass metal, this sturdy hanging set is completely immune to fractures during long international transit or international shipping courier handling.

Simple Care & Maintenance Instructions

Because this solid brass hanging piece features an intentional antique finish with dark shaded accents, it requires very low maintenance to keep its classic look:

Simple Weekly Dusting: Clean gently using a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a small dry paintbrush to easily clear out dust from the crevices of the crown, ears, and inside the three dangling bells.

Washing the Diya Step: If you use real oil inside the lamp step, clean it gently with a regular soft dish sponge and mild soap to wash away leftover sticky soot. Never use steel wool or harsh chemical detergents, as they will scratch away the beautiful dark antique shading.

Wipe It Completely Dry: Always dry the structure immediately after any ritual wash so that water droplets do not leave uneven white mineral marks on the polished brass.

A Quick Note on Our Product Photos: To show you exactly how this beautiful piece looks when it is mounted up, we have suspended it from a small display hook in our first few gallery pictures. This allows you to see how gracefully the three Vastu bells hang and swing. The final image shows the real, flat shape of the solid brass structure as it rests before you fix it to your wall or door frame.

What you see on this page is the real product — photographed as it is, with no digital editing or AI enhancement. The piece you receive will look exactly as shown.

Care & Maintenance

Made from super fine quality brass with a golden powder coated polish — gives a satin gold glow like a gold statue. Purely for decor and dry display. If used for pooja rituals, the golden polish layer will peel off over time. Keep it dry — and it will look as fresh as the day you bought it. Always.

No restrictions for pooja rituals. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve its traditional antique look. The dark patina is intentional — it deepens the beauty over time.

Powerful. Preferred for active pooja rituals — no restrictions. Traditional Cleaning Method: Use dara liquid and cashew nut seeds — an ancient method used by temple priests for generations. Gently rub with cashew nut seeds dipped in dara liquid. Rinse clean. Your idol will look brand new. Cleaning once every 30 days is recommended if used regularly for pooja.

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand this completely. You are buying online from a shop you have never visited. Here is the truth: Sri Swaminathan & Co has been standing at 61, Bakthapuri Street, Kumbakonam since 1973 — over 53 years. We are not a warehouse or a reseller. We are a family shop, rooted in Kumbakonam, where priests, temples, and devotees from across Tamil Nadu have been coming for generations. Travellers from Singapore, Malaysia, UK, and USA visit us when they come to Kumbakonam — because they know us. You can walk into our shop any day. We are real.
Because most sites sell products. We sell legacy. Every item in our shop — whether it is a small brass lamp or a 4-foot Panchaloha idol — comes from craftsmen whose families have been doing this since the Chola period. We do not source from factories. We do not compromise on material or finish to reduce price. When you buy from us, you are not just getting a product — you are getting 53 years of trust, traditional craftsmanship, and the assurance that what you receive is exactly what a devotee deserves.
This is a fair concern and we respect it. Here is why we do not offer COD — our products are handcrafted, fragile, and carefully packed for safe delivery. COD returns damage both the product and the trust. Instead, we offer something better: WhatsApp us before you order. We will send you a video of the actual product — the exact piece you will receive. You can ask us anything. Only when you are fully satisfied, you pay. Our 53-year reputation is our guarantee — we cannot afford to let even one customer down.
Not at all — and we are glad you asked this. Our products are made of brass and Panchaloha — metals that naturally catch and reflect light from every angle. What you see as dark shades or bright reflections in photos is simply the metal doing what metal does — glowing, reflecting, and shining. We photograph every product as-is, with no filters, no AI, no editing. That reflection you see in the photo? You will see the same beautiful glow when it sits in your pooja room. It is not a defect — it is the character of real metal.
Yes — and here is why we say this with full confidence. Panchaloha idols require the right alloy, the right casting method, and the right finishing — done by craftsmen who understand the spiritual significance of what they are making. Our Panchaloha idols are hand-cast in Kumbakonam and Swamimalai by hereditary artisans using the traditional lost-wax method — the same method used to make idols for consecrated temples across South India. Priests trust our idols for temple installation. Families trust us for home pooja rooms. In 53 years, that trust has never been broken.
