  • The Base Wash — Unscrew the upper agal bowl from the standing stem. Wash each piece using Sabeena cleaning powder and a soft sponge to wipe away sticky soot and leftover oil residue. Do not use steel wire scrubbers.
  • Restoring the Temple Glow — Rub a small amount of fresh tamarind paste or lemon juice mixed with fine salt over the brass surface. The natural acid instantly dissolves dark spots and restores the bright shine.
