ꫂ❁ Auspicious Wall-Mounting Brass Lotus Blossom for Home & Altar ꫂ❁

— Fine Quality Strong Brass · Antique Shading & Glossy Highlights · 6 cm (2.4 Inch) —

For those looking to add a neat, temple-like beauty to their bare home walls or pooja room entryways, this gorgeous piece is an excellent choice. Hand-designed right here in Kumbakonam, this Brass Lotus Wall Hanging highlights a beautifully shaped, multi-layered blooming lotus flower.

This is a premium quality, heavy-gauge brass decor item built with a stunning combination of rich antique shadow lines and a high-gloss golden finish. It naturally holds its beautiful appearance over years of daily handling, making it a proud family asset for your interior styling.

A Quick Note on Our Product Photo: To give you a beautiful decor idea, we have displayed two matching pieces side by side in our pictures. Please note that all sizes and prices listed are for a single piece only, giving you the complete freedom to buy exactly as many as your space requires.

Why This Wall Lotus Deserves a Special Place in Your Home

A Heart-Touching Divine Symbol: The lotus is the sacred flower of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, representing pure hearts, peace, and rising above daily worries. Mounting this flower on your prayer room walls or home entryway immediately sets a very calm, cosy, and traditional atmosphere.

Stunning Two-Tone Polish: If you watch the design closely, you will see a beautiful visual contrast. The inner grooved lines of the petals carry a deep antique shading, while the raised outer curves are polished to a brilliant glossy finish that catches passing room light beautifully.

Built to Exist Life-Long: Notable for its solid thickness and durable nature, this sturdy brass flower is completely unbreakable. It handles regular dusting effortlessly without losing its timeless classic look, making it a wonderful family keepsake.

Material, Quality & Craftsmanship

Premium Heavy-Gauge Strong Brass: Cast from thick, 100% genuine solid brass metal right in our workshops. The single compact piece carries an exceptionally heavy, premium feel in the hand, weighing approximately 380 grams for its neat 6 cm height.

Intricate Petal Carvings: Every single vertical line, rounded leaf base, and dot texture is etched beautifully into the core metal, ensuring the traditional layout stays crisp, clean, and highly visible from any angle.

Easy and Secure Wall Mounting: Engineered with a strong, hidden hanging slot neatly integrated into the back frame, allowing it to hook down flush and tight onto wall nails, wooden panels, or main door frames.

A Meaningful Traditional Gift for Holy Days

Home Entryways & Pooja Mandirs: A beautiful statement piece to fix on both sides of your main door wooden frame or your home temple archway to welcome good fortune.

Auspicious Festive Gifting: An exceptional gift choice for housewarmings, weddings, or high-profile Diwali and Navratri Golu return gifts to wish close friends a strong, blessed start.

Safe Worldwide Suitcase Packing: The solid cast brass body is highly sturdy, ensuring it travels completely safe inside your suitcases or international courier mailing boxes without any risk of bending or breaking.

Simple Care & Upkeep Instructions

Because this solid piece features an intentional antique finish with glossy highlights, it requires very simple care to look pristine:

Simple Weekly Dusting: Clean gently once a week using a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a small dry paintbrush to easily clear out dust from the fine petal grooves.

Restoring the Golden Glow: If it loses its lustre over years of use, simply rub a small amount of fresh tamarind paste or fresh lemon juice mixed with fine salt over the glossy surfaces. The natural fruit acid will instantly bring back the rich golden look.

Wipe it Completely Dry: Always wipe the brass flower completely dry with a soft towel immediately after any rinse so that trapped water drops do not leave spots inside the petal lines.

What you see on this page is the real product — photographed as it is, with no digital editing or AI enhancement. The piece you receive will look exactly as shown.

Care & Maintenance

Made from super fine quality brass with a golden powder coated polish — gives a satin gold glow like a gold statue. Purely for decor and dry display. If used for pooja rituals, the golden polish layer will peel off over time. Keep it dry — and it will look as fresh as the day you bought it. Always.

No restrictions for pooja rituals. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve its traditional antique look. The dark patina is intentional — it deepens the beauty over time.

Powerful. Preferred for active pooja rituals — no restrictions. Traditional Cleaning Method: Use dara liquid and cashew nut seeds — an ancient method used by temple priests for generations. Gently rub with cashew nut seeds dipped in dara liquid. Rinse clean. Your idol will look brand new. Cleaning once every 30 days is recommended if used regularly for pooja.

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand this completely. You are buying online from a shop you have never visited. Here is the truth: Sri Swaminathan & Co has been standing at 61, Bakthapuri Street, Kumbakonam since 1973 — over 53 years. We are not a warehouse or a reseller. We are a family shop, rooted in Kumbakonam, where priests, temples, and devotees from across Tamil Nadu have been coming for generations. Travellers from Singapore, Malaysia, UK, and USA visit us when they come to Kumbakonam — because they know us. You can walk into our shop any day. We are real.
Because most sites sell products. We sell legacy. Every item in our shop — whether it is a small brass lamp or a 4-foot Panchaloha idol — comes from craftsmen whose families have been doing this since the Chola period. We do not source from factories. We do not compromise on material or finish to reduce price. When you buy from us, you are not just getting a product — you are getting 53 years of trust, traditional craftsmanship, and the assurance that what you receive is exactly what a devotee deserves.
This is a fair concern and we respect it. Here is why we do not offer COD — our products are handcrafted, fragile, and carefully packed for safe delivery. COD returns damage both the product and the trust. Instead, we offer something better: WhatsApp us before you order. We will send you a video of the actual product — the exact piece you will receive. You can ask us anything. Only when you are fully satisfied, you pay. Our 53-year reputation is our guarantee — we cannot afford to let even one customer down.
Not at all — and we are glad you asked this. Our products are made of brass and Panchaloha — metals that naturally catch and reflect light from every angle. What you see as dark shades or bright reflections in photos is simply the metal doing what metal does — glowing, reflecting, and shining. We photograph every product as-is, with no filters, no AI, no editing. That reflection you see in the photo? You will see the same beautiful glow when it sits in your pooja room. It is not a defect — it is the character of real metal.
Yes — and here is why we say this with full confidence. Panchaloha idols require the right alloy, the right casting method, and the right finishing — done by craftsmen who understand the spiritual significance of what they are making. Our Panchaloha idols are hand-cast in Kumbakonam and Swamimalai by hereditary artisans using the traditional lost-wax method — the same method used to make idols for consecrated temples across South India. Priests trust our idols for temple installation. Families trust us for home pooja rooms. In 53 years, that trust has never been broken.
