Sri Swaminathan & Co · Since 1973 · Sacred Trust
Inviting the Timeless Wisdom, Universal Ethics, and Righteous Guidance of the Tamil Sage Into Your Space
Sacred Five-Metal Blend · Traditional Holy Philosopher Silhouette · Available in 4 Inch & 5 Inch
Welcome this exceptionally profound, holy, and spiritually anchoring Panchaloha Thiruvalluvar Statue into the heart of your home temple, living room bookshelf, or office workspace. Hand-sculpted in our historical heritage city of Kumbakonam using the time-honoured Chola lost-wax casting ritual, this holy icon is cast from the authentic five-metal alloy known as Aimpon. Following strict scriptural instructions, our master sthapathis melt pure copper, zinc, and tin together, enriching the red-hot liquid crucible with a dedicated pinch of real silver and gold. Available in two beautiful sizes weighing up to a highly substantial 700 grams approx., this solid, museum-quality masterpiece provides an unyielding cultural presence built to handle generations of daily ritual bathings (Abishekam).
His Sacred History & Spiritual Majesty: The Weaver of Universal Truth
Thiruvalluvar (affectionately revered as Valluvar) is the legendary Tamil poet-saint and one of the greatest philosophers in human history. He is the divine author of the Thirukkural (திருக்குறள்) — a monumental masterpiece composed of 1,330 couplets that serve as a universal guide to human ethics, life conduct, politics, and pure spiritual love.
Valluvar did not preach from distant, abstract heavens. He lived simply as a householder and a weaver, demonstrating to the world that a common person can attain the highest states of spiritual enlightenment and flawless righteousness while living a normal family life. His teachings do not belong to any single religion or caste; they belong to all of humanity. Having his holy image on your altar or study desk acts as an unyielding beacon of logic, clarity, and daily moral strength, helping to clear family anxieties and guiding your future lineage toward true, balanced life success.
Reading the Divine Iconography: The Sacred Stylus & Palm Leaves
Our master Kumbakonam sthapathis have chiselled this solid Aimpon icon with absolute perfection to capture his traditional, globally recognised seating profile:
- The Calm Seated Posture (Padmasana) — the great saint is seated beautifully in a cross-legged meditative posture upon a double-layered throne, featuring a beautifully cast rectangular lotus pedestal base plate (Padma Pitha). This seated stance represents absolute stability, deep composure, and focused mental stillness.
- The Writing Stylus (Ezhuthani) — held gracefully in his right hand is his sharp writing stylus, showing him in the live, active state of carving timeless wisdom codes for humanity. Every finger is cast with incredible lifelike precision.
- The Sacred Palm-Leaf Manuscripts (Olai Chuvadi) — held softly in his left hand is a bundle of palm-leaf manuscripts, representing the fully compiled Thirukkural text. This feature reminds us of the power of structured knowledge, clear speech, and eternal wisdom over material confusion.
- The Sage’s Ascetic Features — his hair is tied elegantly into a traditional crown top-knot (Jata-Makuta), and his face is adorned with a beautiful, thick flowing beard. His serene, calm expression and wide, compassionate eyes are captured with a world-class realistic finish that makes it feel as though the great sage of ethics is physically present in your room.

Care & Maintenance
Made from super fine quality brass with a golden powder coated polish — gives a satin gold glow like a gold statue. Purely for decor and dry display. If used for pooja rituals, the golden polish layer will peel off over time. Keep it dry — and it will look as fresh as the day you bought it. Always.
No restrictions for pooja rituals. Avoid harsh chemicals to preserve its traditional antique look. The dark patina is intentional — it deepens the beauty over time.
Powerful. Preferred for active pooja rituals — no restrictions. Traditional Cleaning Method: Use dara liquid and cashew nut seeds — an ancient method used by temple priests for generations. Gently rub with cashew nut seeds dipped in dara liquid. Rinse clean. Your idol will look brand new. Cleaning once every 30 days is recommended if used regularly for pooja.
